Job summary

Michael Page International (Belgium) is recruiting a Tax Specialist to join the finance team in Brussels. You will report to the accounting manager for the Belgian HQ and to the CFO of the e-commerce marketplace, acting as the main tax contact for both entities.

The role covers monthly VAT filings, Intrastat, intercompany netting, and Pillar 2 compliance at HQ, plus DAC7 and Deemed Supplier controls for the marketplace.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Finance or Law with Tax specialization.
• Fluent in English with good command of French or Dutch.
• Strong expertise in corporate and indirect tax (VAT).
• Hands-on with operational tax tasks.
• Experience in international and cross-border tax environments.
• Ability to manage multiple compliance cycles (monthly, quarterly, annual).

Responsibilities

• Belgian HQ: Manage monthly VAT filings (BE, FR & LUX).
• Belgian HQ: Intrastat and statistical declarations (BE, FR & LUX).
• Oversee intercompany netting and transfer pricing.
• Ensure indirect tax, customs, and cross-border compliance.
