Médiane Benelux is seeking a Senior System Engineer to establish a dedicated Systems Engineering function for complex embedded products in the defense sector. You will define processes, manage requirements, shape system architecture and provide technical leadership in a demanding engineering environment.

This role requires a strong track record in requirements definition and traceability, experience with DOORS or Polarion, SysML/UML, and on-site presence four days per week in Liège area.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or equivalent technical qualification.
• At least 8 years of experience in Systems Engineering.
• Strong expertise in requirements definition, management and traceability.
• Experience with defense, aerospace, railway or safety-critical industries is valued.

Responsabilités

• Define and implement Systems Engineering processes and methodologies.
• Capture, analyze and structure stakeholder and system requirements.
• Coordinate system architecture activities across multidisciplinary teams.
• Lead requirement reviews and technical alignment sessions.
• Ensure end-to-end traceability throughout the development lifecycle.
• Contribute to the development and maturity of the Systems Engineering department.
