Médiane Benelux is seeking a System Engineer to support the definition, documentation and traceability of system requirements within a complex engineering environment for a defense sector client.

You will contribute to system design activities and collaborate with software, hardware, validation and project teams throughout the lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or equivalent technical qualification.
• 3–8 years of experience in systems engineering.
• Experience in requirements definition and management.
• Knowledge of SysML and system modelling practices.
• Structured, analytical and able to work with multidisciplinary teams.
• Experience in regulated, industrial or safety-critical environments is a plus.

Job Description

Our client, a company operating in the defense sector, is looking for a System Engineer to support the definition, documentation and traceability of system requirements within a complex engineering environment.

You will contribute to system design activities and work closely with multidisciplinary teams throughout the development lifecycle.

Your responsibilities

• Write, review and maintain system requirements.
• Support system architecture and design activities.
• Ensure traceability between requirements, design elements and verification activities.
• Participate in technical reviews and alignment meetings.
• Produce and maintain clear engineering documentation.

Required qualifications

• Between 3 and 8 years of experience in systems engineering.
• Experience in requirements definition and management.
• Good understanding of system development processes.
• Knowledge of SysML and system modelling practices.

Mandatory requirements

• Fluent French.
