Pauwels Consulting is seeking an experienced Senior System Engineer to maintain critical enterprise applications and oversee software packaging across multiple platforms. You will manage deployments, lifecycle, and security policies in a large-scale endpoint environment.

The role requires deep AD/GPO/LDAP expertise, strong experience with Intune and SCCM, and fluency in English, Dutch or French. A 2-year engagement with flexible contract options is offered, starting 01/01/2027.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in system engineering and software packaging in large-scale environments.
• Expert knowledge of software packaging using InstallShield, WISE, MSI, and MSIX.
• In-depth expertise in endpoint management and deployment using Intune and SCCM.
• Advanced experience with Active Directory, including GPO, LDAP, and domain management.
• Fluent in English, Dutch, or French at a C2 level.

Our client, a prominent organization in the transport sector, is seeking an expert to maintain technical applications used for vehicle diagnostics and maintenance. The role focuses on overseeing software lifecycles and packaging within a large-scale enterprise environment to ensure operational continuity.

• Manage and maintain technical applications critical for maintenance and diagnostic operations.
• Execute software packaging tasks using specialized tools and various installer formats.
• Oversee the deployment and lifecycle management of applications within a large-scale endpoint environment.
• Implement and maintain security processes and policies aligned with business objectives.
• Coordinate with technical teams and stakeholders to ensure infrastructure stability across multiple platforms.
• Manage complex directory services and group policies to support enterprise-wide software distribution.

• You have 10+ years of experience in system engineering and software packaging within large-scale environments.
• You bring expert knowledge of software packaging using InstallShield, WISE, MSI, and MSIX.
• You possess in-depth expertise in endpoint management and deployment using Intune and SCCM.
• You have advanced experience with Active Directory, including GPO, LDAP, and domain management.
• You're experienced in managing a diverse infrastructure stack including Windows, MacOS, Linux, Android, and iOS.
• You have a proven track record of working in environments with over 100,000 endpoints and extensive software portfolios.
• You possess a broad understanding of Azure administration, including dynamic groups and license management.
• You bring strong technical knowledge of networking protocols such as TCP/IP, Routing, DNS, and DHCP.
• You hold a relevant MCSA, MCSE, or MCSD certification.
• You are fluent in English, Dutch, or French at a C2 level.

Nice to Haves

• Broad expertise in application virtualization using AppV.
• Knowledge of Oracle VM VirtualBox.
• Proficiency in scripting with PowerShell and VBScript.
