Fujitsu is seeking a Senior Windows DevOps Engineer for a long-term freelance assignment in Brussels. The role requires 5 days on-site per week and Dutch & English mandatory, with French nice to have.

You will work on Windows workstation/server environments, implementing PowerShell, VMware, SCCM, Exchange, LDAP, and related technologies while aligning with ITIL and DevOps practices. The candidate should hold Belgian nationality and be willing to obtain Top Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of experience as a Windows DevOps Engineer.
• Expert knowledge of Microsoft Windows (workstation and server).
• Expert knowledge of PowerShell scripting.
• Expert knowledge of VMware.
• Expert knowledge of Microsoft SCCM.
• Expert knowledge of Exchange.
• Expert knowledge of LDAP.
• Good knowledge of storage, networking and cybersecurity.
• Experience with Windows auditing and hardening.
• Experience with monitoring tools and log analysis (ELK Stack).
• Knowledge of backup and restore technologies.
• Knowledge of Active Directory, user management, DFS, Git, GitLab and Event Viewer.
• Experience with troubleshooting complex system issues, performance tuning and high-availability solutions.
• Good knowledge of DevOps principles and Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban or Lean).
• Knowledge of IT Service Management / ITIL v4.
• Experience with EDR and Zero Trust.
• Experience maintaining an up-to-date infrastructure inventory.

For one of our clients, we are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer Windows for a long-term freelance assignment.

Assignment Details

• Start date: 01/10/2026
• Duration: 220 man-days
• Location: Brussels
• Work arrangement: 5 days/week on-site - no remote work
• Languages: Dutch & English - mandatory | French - nice to have
• Working hours: Flexible
• Security clearance: Willingness to obtain Top Secret security clearance and undergo a security screening
• Nationality: Belgian nationality required
