Job summary

Sonaca is seeking a Stress Manager to support stress leaders in R&T and certification work for metallic and composite aircraft structures. You will work within a ~15-person stress engineering team to define tests and validate reports, ensuring compliance with certification requirements, and producing coherent final documents.

Ideal candidates have a Master’s in mechanical/ aerospace engineering and at least 8 years of experience in structural analysis, with strong knowledge of FEM, FDT, and

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in mechanical / Aerospace Engineering (or equivalent).
• Minimum 8 years of experience in structural analysis of aircraft structures.
• Strong knowledge of metallic and composite materials and structural analysis methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct support to stress leaders for R&T and certification of metallic/composite structures.
• Collaborate with test department to define and follow up tests; validate report sections.
• Incorporate authorities' comments and prepare additional documentation for certification.
• Integrate report sections into a coherent document addressing all certification requirements.
