SABCA is seeking a Quality Control Inspector Structure to ensure aeronautical parts meet all technical, quality, and customer requirements. You will perform visual, dimensional, and structural inspections, ensuring traceability and documentation accuracy throughout the production flow.

The role requires reading and interpreting technical drawings, applying aerospace assembly processes, and using PC-DMIS, SAP, and Catia in a collaborative, cross-functional team environment.

Qualifications

• Technical background in mechanics, aeronautics, quality, or metrology, or equivalent experience.
• Experience in industrial and/or aerospace quality inspection is preferred; experience in structural assembly or dimensional metrology is an asset.

Responsabilités

• Verify conformity of assembly operations with drawings and work instructions.
• Inspect assemblies, drillings, reamings, fasteners and clearances.
• Perform visual and dimensional inspections and record results.
• Ensure traceability of inspections and maintain quality documentation.
• Manage non-conformities and support FAI dossiers when needed.
• Work with SAP to document and validate inspection results.

Mission:

Your main mission as a Quality Control Inspector Structure is to ensure that aeronautical parts, subassemblies, and assemblies comply with all applicable technical, quality, and customer requirements.
Within the scope of their qualifications and authorizations, the Quality Control Inspector Structure performs documentation, visual, dimensional, and structural inspections, while ensuring the validation and traceability of the results.
In this way, they contribute to maintaining product quality and supporting the release of products to the next stages of the production process.

Responsabilities:

• Verifying the conformity of assembly operations with drawings, work instructions, and applicable specifications
• Inspecting assemblies, drillings, reamings, fasteners, clearances, and flushness
• Performing visual and dimensional inspections
• Identifying defects or deviations that may affect product conformity
• Ensuring the traceability of inspections performed in accordance with the company's quality processes
• Completing quality documentation and records
• Recording and validating inspection results
• Monitoring and validating operations in SAP according to authorization level
• Verifying consistency between applicable requirements and obtained results
• Participating in the preparation and/or validation of FAI (First Article Inspection) dossiers
• Ensuring the availability and reliability of evidence associated with completed inspections
• Verifying and confirming inspection results
• Securing the product in accordance with applicable procedures
• Documenting non-conformities in a factual and accurate manner
• Ensuring the traceability of deviations
• Informing the relevant stakeholders and departments
• Contributing to the analysis and resolution of non-conformities within the scope of responsibility

You are also responsible for:

• Ensuring compliance with the EN9100 quality standard and the ISO 14001 environmental standard
• Performing rigorous self-checks to guarantee the quality and conformity of the work
• Transferring your skills and knowledge to new team members to foster a culture of continuous learning and mutual support
• Managing confidential data and situations
• Complying with safety, health, and environmental rules
• Reporting risks and applying procedures to prevent incidents

Profile:

Education / Experience:

• Education: You have a technical background in mechanics, aeronautics, quality, or metrology, or equivalent experience
• Desired experience: You have experience in industrial and/or aerospace quality inspection. Experience in structural assembly or dimensional metrology is considered an asset
