The EORTC Statistics Department is seeking a Senior Statistician to reinforce its team in Brussels. The role provides statistical support to disease-oriented groups and acts as study statistician for selected clinical studies, under the Head of Statistics.

You will oversee statistical tasks and ensure deliverables meet SOPs and guidelines. Requirements include a master's or PhD in statistics (or related field), 5+ years in clinical trials (oncology preferred), survival analysis expertise, and

Qualificações

• Master’s degree or PhD in Statistics, Biostatistics, Mathematics or related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in clinical trials research (oncology preferred).
• Experience in the design, conduct and analysis of clinical trials.
• Expertise in survival analysis techniques.
• Proficiency in SAS or R.
• Excellent written and verbal English; able to work in an international environment.

Responsabilidades

• Development of new outlines in collaboration with DOGs and councils until approval.
• Perform statistical tasks related to the conduct, analysis and reporting of studies.
• Supervise statistical tasks delegated to statisticians or fellows.
• Ensure up-to-date knowledge of statistical techniques for trial design and analysis.
• Prepare material for conferences and contribute to manuscripts and reports.
