ESA is recruiting a State aid Legal Officer to join its Competition and State aid Directorate in Brussels. You will assess and handle state aid cases, examine complaints and notifications, and draft guidelines and legal opinions.

The role requires a strong background in EU/EEA state aid law and excellent English drafting skills. We are seeking a lawyer with at least five years of relevant experience, ideally with international exposure in EU institutions or national administrations.

Qualifications

• University degree in law
• At least 5 years of relevant professional experience
• Extensive experience in EU and/or EEA state aid law from an EU institution, national authority, administration or private firm
• Solid knowledge of EU/EEA law framework
• Excellent English drafting and communication skills

Responsabilités

• Assess and handle state aid cases
