ESA, based in Brussels, seeks a Legal Officer in the Internal Market Affairs Directorate to handle Energy law matters across EEA EFTA States. You will draft decisions, monitor developments and collaborate with a wide network in an international setting.

The role requires 5+ years of relevant experience and strong English drafting skills, with a focus on regulatory energy law and policy.

Qualifications

• University degree in law or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of EU/EEA law and energy policy.
• Minimum 5 years in public or private sector.

Responsabilités

• Oversee general surveillance and case handling on Energy law in EEA EFTA States.
• Examine complaints and perform legal conformity assessments.
• Draft ESA decisions, opinions and reports on Energy law.
• Monitor developments in policy and legal fields.
• Coordinate with EC, ACER, EFTA Secretariat and national authorities.
