Aerospacelab in Belgium is seeking a Mechanism Engineer to join our satellite hardware team. You will work on mechanisms with stringent requirements, from concept trade-offs and overall design studies to validation through extensive testing, contributing from inception to final assembly.

The role requires an MSc in Electro-Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering, at least 5 years of experience in electro-mechanical engineering, and fluency in English.

Qualifications

• MSc degree in Electro-Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering and 5+ years in electro-mechanical engineering.
• Experience with mechanism design, including non-space mechanisms.
• Ability to drive designs to completion autonomously with cross-team collaboration.
• Fluency in English and strong communication.
• Proficiency with common CAD tools.

Responsabilités

• Lead or support mechanism system development from concept through testing.
• Perform trade-offs and design studies for mechanism components.
• Coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams across engineering, PM, and manufacturing.
• Contribute to validation and eventual production of mechanisms.
