Jobtailor in Belgium is seeking an experienced Software Test Engineer to design and maintain functional, integration, and system validation test scenarios for complex software platforms, including embedded systems.

You will develop and execute automated test cases, lead test strategy plans, analyze defects, and report quality risks to stakeholders; ISTQB Advanced and CTAE are required. Collaborate with Dev and Engineering to improve product quality throughout the software lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Experience in designing test strategies and plans.
• Proven track record in functional, integration and system testing.
• Knowledge of embedded systems testing and monitoring solutions.
• ISTQB Advanced Level and CTAE certifications required.

Requirements

• Minimum 10 years of experience in software testing and quality assurance environments
• Strong expertise in functional, integration, and system testing
• Comfortable working on complex software platforms, including embedded systems and monitoring solutions
• ISTQB Advanced Level (Test Analyst, Technical Test Analyst, Test Manager)
• ISTQB Certified Test Automation Engineer (CTAE)
• Languages: proficiency in French, Dutch, and English
