YUSO in Waregem, Belgium is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to connect data systems, build real-time streaming pipelines, and extend the ML platform used by traders and quants. You will own data movement, tooling, and production-ready deployment with CI/CD and robust monitoring.

The role emphasizes Python expertise, AWS with IaC, and collaboration with a lead data engineer and quants to expose data efficiently while advancing the energy market focus.

Qualifications

• Strong Python skills and clean code practices.
• Experience building streaming pipelines and data platforms.
• Hands-on AWS experience with IaC and CI/CD tooling.

Responsabilités

• Connect data across systems by building integration software and streaming pipelines.
• Own the real-time path to move live data into trading workflows with low latency.
• Reduce bottlenecks by offloading heavy analytics from trading systems.
• Build tooling for the machine learning platform, including tests and backtesting harnesses.
• Ship the platform with proper CI/CD, access control, and monitoring.
• Automate onboarding of data sources to be self-service.
