ACENSI is seeking a passionate Data Engineer to contribute to machine learning projects in the energy sector, focusing on forecasting the performance of renewable assets in Brussels.

The ideal candidate has extensive experience in Python and MLOps, along with knowledge of big data architectures. You will work collaboratively with Quants and Data Scientists, tackling challenges throughout the machine learning model lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Advanced proficiency in Python (10+ years).
• Senior experience in Big Data architecture (8 to 10 years).
• Junior-level experience in Databricks (less than 3 years).

Responsabilités

• Contribute to the creation of Machine Learning models for energy production forecasting.
• Work with Quants and Data Scientists to solve challenges in the ML model lifecycle.
• Manage feature preparation, training, tuning, and inference tasks.

ACENSI is looking for a Data Engineer for one of their clients in the energy sector in Brussels:

We are looking for a passionate python developer to join our team and contribute to the creation of Machine Learning models to forecast the energy production of our renewable assets (wind farms, photovoltaic plants).

The ideal profile is:

• A data engineer who understands the challenges of MLOps (feature preparation, training, tuning, and inference).
• A python development enthusiast, capable of juggling libraries and frameworks.
• A software craftsman capable of working with Quants and Data Scientists to solve problems related to the Machine Learning model lifecycle (e.g., setting up training pipelines).

The position requires advanced proficiency in Python and the AWS ecosystem (s3, step functions, athena, etc...). Previous experience with Databricks, Feature Stores, and Model Registries (MLFlow) is a plus.

Requirements:

• Python V3 Expert (+10 ans)
• Big Data Architecture & Technologies Senior (8 ans < x <= 10 ans)
• Databricks Junior (< 3 ans)
