XFA is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain secure, scalable software for its cybersecurity platform. You’ll collaborate with founders and product teams across backend, desktop, and mobile apps, with a hybrid work model in Antwerp, Belgium.

The role offers growth into technical leadership, exposure to AI-assisted development, and a fast-moving startup environment with international clients and a competitive salary package.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in software development with Golang, or familiarity with languages such as Python, .NET, or Java.
• Understanding of software security principles and an interest in cybersecurity.
• Excellent communication skills, both asynchronous and synchronous.
• Comfortable working independently and proactively in a fast-moving start-up.
• Experience with Flutter, React or Typescript is a plus.
• Experience developing cross-platform applications for Windows, macOS, or Linux is an advantage.
• Fluent in English; other European languages are a plus.

Responsabilités

• Design, develop, and maintain software using Golang, Flutter, and Typescript.
• Create secure and scalable back-end technology used globally
• Expand functionality on both desktop and mobile operating systems.
• Write automated tests and maintain high-quality, reliable code.
• Collaborate with a small, fast-moving team to implement new features and resolve technical challenges.
• Participate in code reviews, ensuring coding standards and security best practices are upheld.
• Continuously improve developer workflows, build processes, and documentation.
