Our client is an international financial services company with offices based around the world. For their Belgian headquarters, located in Brussels, we are seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Manager to join their team.

Job Overview

As the Cybersecurity Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the cybersecurity program of our client. You will lead a dedicated team and collaborate across departments to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of all information systems. Demonstrating strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of cybersecurity best practices, and the ability to adapt to evolving threats, you will drive the implementation of Cybersecurity policy throughout the Belgian organisation.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive cybersecurity strategy aligned with national and international business goals and regulatory requirements.
• Stay informed about the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and technologies.
• Lead and mentor a team of 8 cybersecurity professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
• Coordinate training programs to enhance the team’s skills and knowledge.
• Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability analyses to identify potential threats and weaknesses within the organisation’s systems.
• Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies and action plans.
• Develop and maintain an incident response plan to address and contain cybersecurity incidents promptly.
• Lead investigations into security incidents and coordinate with relevant stakeholders.
• Design and implement robust security architectures for networks, systems, and applications.
• Ensure the integration of security controls into technology solutions.
• Ensure compliance with cybersecurity regulations, standards, and industry best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Cybersecurity or Information Technology
• Proven experience in a cybersecurity management role.
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or similar.
• In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks, standards, and technologies.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.Experience in incident response and forensic analysis.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
