argenx is seeking a (Senior) Scientist to advance early development of therapeutic antibodies at our Ghent facility. The role blends hands-on recombinant protein production, purification, analytical characterization and developability assessment with strong project-management and team coordination.

The successful candidate will drive construct and sequence design through expression, purification and QC, collaborating across discovery, analytics, and engineering teams to advance lead candidates

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology or related field.
• Expertise in antibody biology.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Proficient in English, our corporate language.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate work from construct and sequence design through expression, purification, QC, and developability evaluation.
• Collaborate with antibody engineering, discovery, analytical, computational and project teams to identify risks and prioritize experiments.
• Support molecule-selection decisions and contribute to program strategy and technical leadership.
• Mentor and engage in external collaborations as applicable.
