argenx is seeking a (Senior) Scientist to drive early development of therapeutic antibodies in Ghent, Belgium. The role focuses on antibody production, purification, analytical characterization, sequence optimization, and developability assessment with strong project-management skills.

You will coordinate late preclinical/early CMC work, collaborate across discovery, analytical, and engineering teams, and contribute to molecule-selection decisions.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology or related field with antibody biology expertise.
• Proactive, independent and collaborative work style.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Fluent in English.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate late preclinical/early CMC activities from construct design through expression and developability evaluation.
• Collaborate with antibody engineering, analytical, computational, and project teams to identify risks and prioritize experiments.
• Provide science-driven recommendations and contribute to molecule-selection decisions.
• For Senior Scientist level, assume greater program leadership and mentorship responsibilities.
