Keyrock is seeking a Senior Rust Engineer with deep trading systems experience to join our Capital Markets division. You will lead design and operations of high‑impact infrastructure and work with a global, fully remote team across European time zones.

You will shape technical direction, drive performance improvements, and collaborate with quants, traders, and engineers to deliver resilient trading solutions in a fast-growing area of market making and high-frequency trading.

Qualifications

• Production-grade Rust experience building high-performance, concurrent systems.
• Experience in a systematic trading environment (HFT, Market Making, Quantitative Trading).
• Strong AWS and Linux expertise, including cloud infra trade-offs for latency-sensitive workloads.
• Proficiency in Python or other scripting languages for strategy development and tooling.
• Deep familiarity with trading system protocols (FIX, REST, WebSocket).
• Low-latency networking concepts: TCP/UDP, latency path analysis, kernel bypass (DPDK).
• Familiarity with agentic engineering tools, AI‑First concepts and workflow automation.
• Ability to make sound architectural decisions and guide complex implementations.

Responsabilités

• Design, develop, and optimize low-latency, mission-critical trading systems.
• Own key trading stack components end-to-end from architecture to production.
• Collaborate with quants, traders, and engineers to improve performance and resilience.
• Maintain and evolve trading infrastructure focusing on performance, stability, and observability.
• Troubleshoot complex production issues across exchange connectivity and data handling.
• Drive engineering standards through leadership, reviews, and mentoring.
• Embrace agentic engineering: leverage AI-assisted workflows and automation.
• Contribute to functional and production readiness testing for critical components.
