Keyrock is seeking a Senior Rust Engineer for High Frequency Trading (HFT) to lead design and delivery of low-latency trading systems. You will own core components, collaborate with quants and traders, and push for operational excellence in a fully remote, globally distributed Capital Markets team.

The role emphasizes Rust production-grade engineering, AWS/Linux proficiency, and experience with trading protocols. You will contribute to technology strategy and drive automation across the stack.

Qualifications

• Production-grade Rust experience building high-performance, concurrent systems.
• Hands-on experience in a systematic trading environment (HFT, Market Making, Quantitative Trading) with risk awareness.
• Strong AWS and Linux expertise, incl. cloud latency trade-offs, scripting, debugging and production troubleshooting.
• Proficiency in Python or other scripting languages for automation and tooling.
• Familiarity with trading system protocols (FIX, REST, WebSocket) and market data feeds.
• Solid grasp of low-latency networking (TCP/UDP, kernel bypass DPDP).
• Agentic engineering tools: LLMs, MCP APIs, AI-First IDEs, harness engineering, workflow automation.
• Ability to make sound architectural decisions and guide complex implementations.

Responsabilités

• Design, develop, and optimise low-latency trading systems end-to-end.
• Own key trading stack components from architecture to production.
• Collaborate with quants, traders, and engineers to improve performance and resilience.
• Maintain trading infrastructure with emphasis on performance, stability and observability.
• Troubleshoot production issues across connectivity, execution and market data handling.
• Drive engineering standards through leadership, reviews and mentoring.
• Leverage AI-assisted workflows and automation to evolve tooling.
• Contribute to functional and production-readiness testing for critical components.
