Monument Re Group in Brussels is seeking a Python IT Developer to support and operate our life insurance policy administration software (UL3). You will develop automations, interfaces, and reporting solutions while contributing to integration and tooling improvements in a dynamic team.

The role requires strong Python scripting, knowledge of CI/CD, and experience with MS Power platforms. Fluency in French and English is expected; Dutch is a plus.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and CI/CD.
• Experience in scripting languages (Python, vbscript, Javascript).
• Demonstrated experience in developing solutions around the MS Power platforms for quick wins and automation.
• Ability to architect solutions in a robust, performant-by-design way.
• Team player with service-minded, result-oriented attitude.
• Strong algorithmic experience for optimized business processes.
• Familiarity with Agile/SCRUM and Jira Software.

Responsabilités

• Design, build and support development for data interfaces and small applications supporting integration and automation of activities around UL3 policy administration software.
• Develop and maintain automations and interfaces using Python and other tools.
• Develop and maintain reporting solutions from UL3 and other applications to internal and external databases.
• Create ad hoc tools to support life insurance policy administration and other projects.
• Install add-ons to UL3 and manage testing and releases.
