NISH Technologies is seeking a Senior Python Developer to join a mission-critical internal monitoring platform in the energy sector. You will help monitor application health via sophisticated synthetic and log checks, and provide timely alerts when intervention is needed.

You will collaborate with Software Developers, Product Owners, Analysts, Data Engineers, Architects and IT Operations to evolve Python-based monitoring and alerting solutions, ensuring secure, scalable and reliable systems

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in IT/Technology or a related field.
6+ years of professional software development experience.
3+ years of hands-on Python development experience.
Strong Python backend development experience with FastAPI or a similar framework.
Experience with Pydantic and AsyncIO.
Strong SQL experience (MSSQL and/or PostgreSQL).
Experience with RabbitMQ and service-based/event-driven architectures.
Knowledge of software design patterns, scalability and CI/CD.
Knowledge of test automation frameworks such as Selenium.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills and ability to mentor juniors.

About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Python Developer to work on a mission-critical internal monitoring platform within the energy sector. The platform monitors application health through sophisticated synthetic and log checks and provides timely alerts when intervention is required.

You will work within a multidisciplinary development community, collaborating with Software Developers, Product Owners, Business Analysts, Data Engineers, Architects, IT Operations and business stakeholders. The role focuses on the continuous development, reliability and optimization of Python-based monitoring and alerting solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, optimize and maintain Python-based software applications and monitoring solutions.
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and define software specifications.

Required Skills & Experience
