ATCON GLOBAL in Brussels is seeking an experienced Python developer to design and implement backend services for asset onboarding, contract management, and market operations within renewable energy trading.

You will build APIs, data pipelines, and real-time data ingestion with messaging systems, work with PostgreSQL, AWS, and collaborate with product and domain experts in an agile environment.

Qualifications

• 6+ years Python development experience.
• Proficiency in PostgreSQL including time-series data handling.
• Experience with AWS services.
• Understanding of energy trading concepts.
• Experience with APIs and data pipelines.
• Familiarity with agile delivery practices.

Responsabilités

• Design and implement backend services in Python to support asset onboarding, contract management, and market operations.
• Develop APIs and data pipelines to integrate components with data hubs and external systems.
• Build integration with messaging systems for real-time data ingestion.
• Work with PostgreSQL for relational and time-series data modelling, optimization, and integrity.
• Leverage AWS services (RDS, S3, IAM, Lambda, ECS) and Docker in deployment.
• Collaborate with product managers and domain experts to translate business needs into scalable features.
