Everience Benelux is seeking a Senior Python Developer to design and implement backend services that support asset onboarding, contracts, and market operations. You will build APIs, data pipelines, and real-time data ingestion with messaging systems, while leveraging PostgreSQL and AWS to ensure scalable, reliable solutions.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of Python development experience.
• Proficiency in PostgreSQL, including schema design and time-series data handling.
• Experience with AWS services (RDS, S3, IAM, ECS, Docker).
• Understanding of energy trading concepts (position management, day-ahead/intraday markets).
• Experience with APIs, data pipelines and streaming, and system integration.
• Familiarity with agile development practices and collaborative delivery environments.

Responsabilités

• Design and implement backend services in Python to support asset onboarding, contract management, and market operations.
• Develop APIs and data pipelines to integrate components with data hubs and storage systems.
• Build integration with messaging systems (MQTT, RabbitMQ) for real-time data ingestion.
• Work with PostgreSQL for relational and time-series data modelling, optimization, and integrity.
• Leverage AWS services (RDS, S3, IAM, Lambda, ECS and Docker).
• Collaborate with product managers and domain experts to translate business needs into scalable software features.
