NISH Technologies is seeking a Senior Python Developer to join a mission-critical internal monitoring platform in the energy sector. You will help monitor application health via sophisticated synthetic and log checks, and provide timely alerts when intervention is needed.

You will collaborate with Software Developers, Product Owners, Analysts, Data Engineers, Architects and IT Operations to evolve Python-based monitoring and alerting solutions, ensuring secure, scalable and reliable systems

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in IT/Technology or a related field.
• 6+ years of professional software development experience.
• 3+ years of hands-on Python development experience.
• Strong Python backend development experience with FastAPI or a similar framework.
• Experience with Pydantic and AsyncIO.
• Strong SQL experience (MSSQL and/or PostgreSQL).
• Experience with RabbitMQ and service-based/event-driven architectures.
• Knowledge of software design patterns, scalability and CI/CD.
• Knowledge of test automation frameworks such as Selenium.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills and ability to mentor juniors.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and define software specifications.
• Address customer and service requests and ensure effective resolution.
• Apply best practices for code quality, testing and CI/CD deployment.
• Mentor junior developers and conduct code reviews.
• Troubleshoot, debug and resolve complex technical issues.
• Collaborate with DevOps and Data Engineering teams to ensure seamless integration and performance.
• Ensure solutions are secure, scalable and maintainable.
