Umicore is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to lead technical industrial projects from concept to handover within our CAPEX portfolio in Belgium. You will manage scope, budget, schedule and stakeholder expectations across multi-disciplinary teams in an industrial environment.

The ideal candidate holds an engineering degree with 10+ years of experience, including 7+ years leading complex projects. You bring strong electromechanical expertise and fluent Dutch and English, with a proven track

Qualifications

Engineering degree with 10+ years of experience in an industrial environment.
7+ years leading multidisciplinary technical projects.
Strong background in electromechanical engineering; knowledge of related disciplines is an advantage.
Thorough understanding of project management methodologies (scope, cost, schedule, quality, risk, stakeholder management).
Excellent communication and reporting skills; able to influence stakeholders at all levels.
Fluent in Dutch and professionally proficient in English.

Responsabilités

Define project scope in consultation with the client and deliverables.
Define constraints (budget, scheduling) and assemble the project team.
Provide technical design and prepare specifications for orders, engineering firms, and contractors.
Direct and monitor all internal and external resources.
Maintain contact with the client to capture and assess changes and implement them when agreed.
Report to stakeholders on project progress and decisions.
Lead, coach and coordinate multidisciplinary project teams.
