Hunter Philips Executive Search is seeking a Senior Project Manager with deep HVDC expertise to drive delivery of major renewables projects in Belgium and internationally. You will lead a high-profile HVDC megaproject with EPC oversight and align stakeholders across engineering, procurement and construction.

Ideal candidates hold a Masters in Electrical Engineering, 5+ years in HVDC, and a proven track record in leadership, contract negotiations, and programme governance.

Qualifications

• Masters in Electrical Engineering required.
• 5+ years of HVDC project experience.
• Strong project management and stakeholder management skills.

Responsabilités

• Lead the HVDC project department through EPC phases.
• Oversee a HVDC megaproject valued at £1 billion from end-to-end.
• Manage 10+ direct reports and coordinate internal/external stakeholders.
• Drive contractual and technical negotiations with partners/clients.
• Path to HVDC Director within three years.

The Company:

A leading renewable energy company developing and delivering iconic renewable projects on a global basis. A leading organisation with a background in renewable energy, with an appetite for further expansion are developing and optimising the market in power systems and executing industry leading HVDC turnkey projects.

The Role:

As Senior Project Manager some duties would include:

• Lead the HVDC Project department through EPC phases
• Overseeing a HVDC Megaproject with a value of £1bln from end-to-end
• Leadership of 10+ direct reports
• Planning and coordinate internal and external stakeholders
• Contractual and Technical negotiations
• Progression to HVDC Director within 3 years

The Person:

As the HVDC Senior Project Manager you will likely have:

• Masters in Electrical Engineering qualified
• 5+ years professional experience in HVDC projects
• Extensive Project Management, stakeholder management and organisation skills

The progression opportunities for this role are real and successful candidates will be realistically achieving Project Director position within 3 years.
