ALTEN Belgium is seeking a Senior Sub-System Manager to lead cross-functional teams on client projects in Charleroi. The role emphasizes planning, budgeting, risk management, and stakeholder coordination to ensure successful deliveries.

The ideal candidate has 7–10 years in PM roles within rail/transport, aerospace/defense, automotive, or industrial sectors, and English fluency (French a plus). International exposure is highly valued, with a permanent contract and remote work possibility.

Senior Sub-System Manager – English required - ALTEN Belgium

The Position

As part of our ongoing growth, we are looking for a Senior Sub-System Manager to join our teams and work on client projects located in Charleroi.

As a Sub-System Manager, your responsibilities will include:

• Leading cross-functional teams to deliver project milestones and objectives.
• Managing planning, budgeting, risk assessment, and stakeholder coordination.
• Ensuring robust reporting, including monthly project reviews and KPI tracking.
• Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to resolve project challenges.
• Representing the project in interactions with customers and partners when necessary.

Your Profile

• Education: Master’s or Bachelor’s degree
• Experience: 7–10 years in project management, work package management, or a similar role
• Industry Background: Experience in rail/transport, aerospace/defense, automotive, or industrial projects
• Language Skills: Fluent in English, with French as a plus
• International Exposure: Experience working in multinational environments
• Key Skills: Cross-functional team coordination, multi-site project execution, stakeholder and supplier management, strong reporting and financial tracking
• Soft Skills: Proactive, adaptable, structured, and results-driven mindset
