In4Matic is seeking an experienced Project Budget & Benefits Controller to support a large-scale transformation programme in Belgium. You will monitor budgets, quantify ROI, and report insights to programme leadership and stakeholders.

You will partner with sponsors and management, delivering financial updates, dashboards and business cases to support informed decisions and successful delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration or related field.
• Several years of experience in controlling, project controlling, or financial project monitoring.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret financial data.
• Proficiency with Excel and reporting tools like Power BI.
• Experience with SAP/SAP S/4HANA is a strong advantage.
• Accurate, structured, results‑oriented, with business mindset.
• Excellent communication with financial and non‑financial stakeholders.
• Proactive attitude and ownership to identify improvements.

We are looking for an experienced Project Budget & Benefits Controller to support a large-scale business transformation programme focused on modernising business processes and systems.

In this role, you will be responsible for closely monitoring the project budget and ensuring that expected business benefits and return on investment (ROI) are accurately quantified, tracked and reported.

You will act as a financial and analytical business partner to programme leadership, sponsors, management and various business stakeholders, providing insights to support informed decision-making and successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, manage and monitor project budgets and financial forecasts.


• Track project expenditure, analyse budget variances and identify deviations.


• Develop and maintain financial reports, dashboards and management information.


• Support the preparation and evaluation of business cases.


• Monitor KPIs related to benefit realisation and overall project performance.


• Identify financial risks, opportunities and potential areas for improvement.


• Conduct cost-benefit analyses and recommend corrective actions.


• Prepare financial updates and reports for steering committees and senior management.


• Monitor project governance in relation to budget, timelines and expected benefits.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to help achieve programme objectives.

Your Profile

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Business Engineering or a related field.


• Several years of experience in controlling, project controlling, business analysis or financial project monitoring.


• Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret financial and operational data.


• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with reporting tools such as Power BI.


• Experience with SAP or SAP S/4HANA is a strong advantage.


• Accurate, structured and results-oriented, with a pragmatic and business-focused mindset.


• Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with both financial and non-financial stakeholders.


• A proactive attitude, a strong sense of ownership and the ability to identify opportunities for improvement.


• Good working knowledge of both Dutch and English.
