TDW in Belgium is seeking a Materials Scheduler to coordinate and manage scheduling of materials and resources so that customer deadlines are met. The role relies on MRP planning and close collaboration with manufacturing, engineering, procurement, and logistics to ensure a smooth, on-time flow of goods.

The position focuses on aligning raw materials with production capacity, rescheduling as needed, and monitoring inventory to support delivery commitments across the order lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Manufacturing or inventory scheduling experience.
• Familiarity with Material Requirements Planning (MRP) systems.

Responsabilités

• Plan and control all scheduling activities for manufactured items to meet customer deadlines.
• Manage product lines to align raw materials with production capabilities.
• Reschedule demand to accommodate changes through the manufacturing process.
• Ensure materials are received and kitted within the Manufacturing schedule constraints.
• Communicate schedules, part availability, and resource status to production planners.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Procurement/Logistics, Production and Customer Service to meet demand requirements.
• Work with Procurement and Supplier Engineering on manufacturing methods or outsourcing as needed.
• Plan demand in line with client or Field Service Operations requirements across the order lifecycle.

Overview

Responsible for coordinating and scheduling materials and resources as they contribute to the function of internal and external manufacturing, to ensure that customer deadlines are met.

Key Responsibilities

Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:

• Plans and controls all scheduling activities supporting manufactured items as well as ensures customer demand is met on schedule using MRP (Material Requirements Planning) and Resource Leveling methodologies.
• Manages product lines to ensure alignment of raw materials and production capabilities.
• Reschedule existing demand to accommodate new demand and changes through the manufacturing process.
• Assists in ensuring that materials are received and kitted within the constraints dictated by the Manufacturing schedule.
• Communicates demands, including schedules, part availability, available resources, etc. to manufacturing and communicates schedule updates to appropriate production planners.
• Collaborates with the Engineering, Procurement/Logistics, Production, Customer Service and other related departments to ensure product meets all customer demand requirements.
• Works with Procurement and Supplier Engineering to determine best practices for manufacturing methods and outsourcing options, if and when necessary, to support product design or customer demand.
• Plans demand in accordance with client or Field Service Operations requirements and works to ensure demand is met through the entire order lifecycle.
