Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine in Beerse, Belgium, is seeking a Senior Scientist, Process Chemistry to design and optimize scalable manufacturing processes for active pharmaceutical ingredients. You will collaborate with engineers, analysts, crystallization and safety teams across pilot plants and production.

You will develop new chemical routes, ensure safety, sustainability and quality, and help accelerate drug candidates through development, regulatory filing, and commercialization

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Organic Chemistry with 4+ years in process chemistry; PhD with 2+ years preferred.
• Strong lab bench experience; ability to independently design experiments.
• Fluent in English with excellent written and oral communication; focus on safety and compliance.

Responsabilités

• Invent and optimize processes for scale-up.
• Provide scientific leadership and hands-on lab work.
• Develop new APIS and translate chemistry to robust large-scale processes.
