We are searching for the best talent for a Senior Scientist, Process Chemistry to be located in Beerse, Belgium. Purpose: The Development Chemistry team generates creative and innovative ideas towards new synthetic routes and solutions that enable large scale manufacturing of target Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients. Our process chemists team up with engineers, analysts, crystallization, and safety experts to design the best manufacturing process. These teams work closely together with the pilot plants and bridge with commercial production. New chemical processes are developed meeting stringent requirements concerning safety, environment, technology, economy, and quality. As a result of these endeavors, drug candidates are accelerated through the development pipeline by enabling sufficient supplies of active ingredient in support of clinical trials, registration and finally commercialization.
Qualifications/Requirements Education: A minimum of a Master's degree in Organic Chemistry or a related field with 4+ years of professional experience in process chemistry or a related area or a PhD with 2+ years of experience is required, preferably with post-doctoral experience.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is: €75,500.00 - €117,300.00
