Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine in Geel/Antwerp, Belgium, is seeking graduates or experienced chemists to join a high‑tech drug production team. You will produce drug product intermediates, scale up processes, and help launch new medicines while ensuring GMP compliance and patient safety.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in chemistry or processing, willingness to work rotating shifts, and a strong focus on safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor in chemistry, process technology or equivalent by experience.
• Willingness to work in a continuous shift system.
• Strong commitment to safety and quality.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on high‑quality work and GMP compliance.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and set priorities efficiently.
• Team player with flexibility and a willingness to learn.
• Strong problem-solving ability and analytical mindset.
• Knowledge of CP III (D-zone) is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Produce Drug Product Intermediates (DPI’s).
• Scale up and develop new chemical and physical processes.
• Launch new medicines and support commercial production of existing drugs.
• Execute chemical reactions and unit operations.
• Address daily production challenges and contribute to process improvements.
• Collaborate in a high‑tech environment to implement new technologies and improvements.
• Maintain safety, quality, and environmental standards focused on patient safety.
