Elia Group is seeking a Technical Expert Customer Connection to lead complex connection studies and ensure high technical quality for customer projects. You will own the Power Quality customer support process and collaborate with internal teams to translate technical insights into practical customer solutions.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Several years of experience in power systems, grid connections and technical customer projects.
• Strong knowledge of electrical networks, study-to-implementation link, and contractual documentation.

Responsibilities

• Ensure technical, customer and project information is available to initiate and progress connection studies.
• Coordinate inputs with internal stakeholders (Grid Development, Infrastructure, Key Account Management).
• Review complex connection-study cases and validate technical consistency of requests and outputs.
• Identify inconsistencies between customer requirements, study results and contracts.
• Support Power Quality investigations and assist in decision making across the Customer Connection Office.
• Determine when specialist input is required from Grid Development, Infrastructure or Regulatory Affairs.
• Review offers, connection agreements and technical annexes for conformity.
• Develop technical quality standards, checklists and best practices for study types.
• Coach colleagues and contribute to onboarding and training materials.
• Translate recurring challenges into process improvements and digitalisation initiatives.
