Job summary

Pauwels Consulting seeks a Senior Project Manager to lead OT cybersecurity transformations across regional sites from analysis to delivery. You will coordinate cross-disciplinary teams and manage budgets, risks, and client relationships to ensure secure, compliant project outcomes.

The role requires deep OT/IT convergence knowledge, experience in industrial automation projects, and fluency in Dutch and English. Travel regionally is expected; on-site work in Brussels region.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in project management within industrial automation and networking.
• Deep knowledge of industrial systems including PLC, SCADA, and DCS.
• Extensive experience in managing complex industrial projects and budget control.
• Strong understanding of OT environments and IT/OT convergence.
• Bachelor or Master degree in Automation, Electromechanics, Cybersecurity, or equivalent.
• Proactive leadership skills with a structured and client-oriented approach.
• Possession of a valid driving license B and willingness to travel regionally.
• You are fluent in Dutch and English.

Responsibilities

• Lead OT cybersecurity projects for industrial clients from analysis and design to implementation.
• Manage multidisciplinary teams of engineers, specialists, and external partners.
• Oversee project scope, planning, budget, risks, and resource management.
• Serve as the central point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle.
• Coordinate security initiatives including network segmentation, secure remote access, and asset management.
• Support clients in implementing cybersecurity strategies according to industrial standards.
• Coach engineers and project staff to ensure quality and compliance throughout the delivery process.
