Job summary

Pauwels Consulting is seeking an experienced security expert to drive its digital transformation by securing complex application environments and ensuring rapid responses to threats. The role emphasizes managing F5 infrastructure, APM/ASM/LTM components, and robust policy implementation.

The ideal candidate will have 8+ years in IT security, strong firewall and logging tool expertise, and fluency in French or Dutch with English.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in IT security with a focus on network protection and infrastructure management.
• Expertise in F5 infrastructure including F5 AWAF, APM, ASM, LTM, Identity Provider, and SSL VPN.
• Strong knowledge of network and application firewalls such as Palo Alto, Forcepoint, and Panorama.
• Advanced proficiency in network protocols and security standards including TCP/IP, HTTP/HTTPS, SSL, and SNMP.
• Experience using monitoring and log correlation tools such as Splunk, Nessus, or Elastic SIEM.
• Proven capability in performing technical risk analyses and vulnerability remediation.
• Demonstrated experience in security crisis management and incident response.
• Methodical and precise approach with a strong ability to document technical processes.
• You are fluent in French or Dutch with at least basic knowledge of the other, and technical English.

Responsibilities
