Job summary

HumanInTech is seeking a senior IT security expert to join the network and security team in Belgium. You will manage and evolve F5 AWAF infrastructure (APM, ASM, LTM, Identity Provider, SSL VPN) and contribute to securing critical systems in a hybrid Brussels-based setting.

Qualifications

• Senior IT security expert with 10+ years of experience.
• Autonomous, initiative-taker who works well under pressure.
• Expert-level knowledge of F5 AWAF: APM, ASM, LTM, Identity Provider, SSL VPN.
• Strong understanding of network and application firewalls (Palo Alto, Forcepoint, Panorama).
• Experience with VPN and proxy solutions.
• Proficient in monitoring and log correlation tools (Splunk, Nessus, Elastic SIEM).
• Deep knowledge of network protocols and security: TCP/IP, HTTP/HTTPS, SSL, SNMP.
• Understanding of wireless security (WiFi, WEP, WPA, WPA2) and encryption principles.
• Ability to conduct technical risk analysis and remediate vulnerabilities.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and manage F5 AWAF infrastructure (APM, ASM, LTM, Identity Provider, SSL VPN).
• Develop, document, and monitor security policies.
• Continuously monitor and evaluate IT security posture; protect against attacks.
• Respond to crises and intrusions; act in crisis situations.
• Advise on technical solutions for securing partner connections via intranet and internet.
• Conduct technical risk analyses across IT systems; remediate vulnerabilities.
• Produce technical documentation and incident/crisis reports.
