Amaris Consulting in Brussels is seeking an experienced Senior .NET Developer to join the team on a permanent contract. You will design, develop, and maintain scalable applications using C# and the .NET ecosystem, working closely with technical leads to translate business requirements into high-quality software solutions.

You will own components from conception to deployment, ensure code quality with testing, and contribute to DevOps and architecture decisions.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
• 7+ years of hands-on experience in software development.
• Strong technical expertise in Microsoft technologies: .NET, C#, ASP.NET.
• Solid understanding of frontend technologies (Blazor, Angular, React, JavaScript).
• Experience with testing frameworks and modern software testing practices.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes, Docker, and Azure DevOps (or similar tools).
• Comfortable working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Fluent in English and either Dutch or French (verbal and written).
• Willing to work on-site in Brussels.

• Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable applications using C# and the .NET ecosystem.
• Work closely with technical leads and cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into high-quality software solutions.
• Take ownership of software components, from conception to deployment and maintenance.
• Ensure code quality and performance through unit testing, integration testing, and peer code reviews.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of development practices, architecture decisions, and technical standards.
• Apply secure coding techniques and follow industry best practices in software engineering.
• Support users by diagnosing and resolving complex technical issues and bugs.
• Document architecture, code, and deployment processes clearly and effectively.

? Your Profile:

• You hold a Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
• You have 7+ years of hands-on experience in software development.

• Experience with testing frameworks and modern software testing practices.

• Strong problem-solving and communication skills, with a focus on delivering quality solutions.
• Fluent in English as well as either Dutch or French (verbal and written).
• Willing and available to work on-site in Brussels.
