Atlas Copco Group seeks a Senior .NET Developer to build the SMARTLINK IoT platform backend. You will shape domain models, APIs, events, and data in a cloud-native .NET environment using PostgreSQL, Kafka and Kubernetes.

The role features an agile team and strong emphasis on observability, testing and AI-assisted development. You will work on a global, evolving platform that ingests device telemetry, supports the portal and apps, and drives operational processes.

Qualifications

• Several years of hands-on C# and .NET back-end development, owning a service end to end and designing APIs.
• Working grasp of domain-driven design: bounded contexts and aggregates.
• Hands-on with PostgreSQL, including JSONB, and writing SQL.
• Apache Kafka as architecture: producers/consumers, schemas, idempotency.
• Container-based, cloud-agnostic development: Kubernetes, containers, pipelines.
• Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
• Agile / Scrum experience, with AI tooling competency.

Responsabilités

• Design and build domain services and cloud-native .NET services that own their data.
• Own API contracts: design, versioning and safe evolution.
• Design events and schemas with Avro and a focus on idempotency and delivery guarantees.
• Model data in PostgreSQL and JSONB for flexible schemas.
• Engineer for fleet scale with high-volume telemetry and robust indexing.
• Make services observable: OpenTelemetry traces, metrics, logs, health checks and alerts.
• Test own work with unit and integration tests alongside product code and shared framework.
• Lead through refinement and set realistic design expectations, embracing AI tooling.
