Atlas Copco Group is seeking a Test Engineer to own the quality of the SmartLink IoT platform backbone at Airpower in Wilrijk, Belgium. You will focus on testing domain services, APIs, and telemetry data end-to-end in a cross-functional agile team.

The role emphasizes test automation in a real engineering environment, using C# on .NET, xUnit, and modern testing tools. You will help migrate two platform generations and extend shared test frameworks across teams.

Qualifications

• Solid grounding in testing methodology, QA practice and defect analysis.
• You test services and APIs directly, not through a UI; REST and messaging contracts are key.
• You write test code with CI/CD in mind using C#/.NET and xUnit; static typing preferred.
• Hands-on with SQL and evaluating data/aggregations for correctness.
• Understanding distributed architectures, messaging, eventual consistency and retries.

Responsabilités

• Test the platform: contract, schema, integration testing of domain services and APIs.
• Validate event streams, time-series and telemetry data across ingestion to consumer.
• Extend shared test framework used by other service teams and run in CI/CD as quality gates.
• Address testability by proposing data, stubs, simulators, or contract tests.
• Ensure platform contracts are met for portal, mobile apps and internal consumers.
• Cover performance and load at fleet scale via distributed harnesses.
• Prove migrations and domain transitions with backward compatibility checks.
• Shape quality upstream by turning requirements into test cases during refinement.
• Leverage AI tooling to improve daily workflows.
