Atlas Copco Group is seeking a Senior .NET Developer for the SMARTLINK IoT platform. You will design domain services, own API contracts, and model data for a cloud-native .NET backend powering a fleet of connected devices.

You will work in an agile team, leveraging PostgreSQL, Kafka, Redis, and Kubernetes. The role emphasizes observability, testing with real dependencies, and shaping domain boundaries with AI-assisted tooling.

Qualifications

• Several years of hands-on C# and .NET back-end development with end-to-end ownership of a service.
• Working grasp of domain-driven design: bounded contexts and aggregates.
• Hands-on with PostgreSQL, including JSONB and SQL reasoning.
• Apache Kafka as architecture: producers/consumers, schemas and delivery guarantees.
• Container-based, cloud-agnostic development: Kubernetes with pipelines.
• Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis mindset.
• Agile/Scrum experience and fluency with AI tooling.

Responsabilités

• Design and build domain services: bounded contexts, aggregates and a language the business recognises.
• Own API contracts: versioning and stable consumer contracts.
• Design events with Avro schemas and clear replay handling.
• Model data in PostgreSQL and JSONB for flexible schemas.
• Engineer for fleet scale with high-volume telemetry and indexing.
• Make services observable: OpenTelemetry traces, metrics and logs.
• Test your own work with unit/integration tests against containerised dependencies.
• Shape design upstream during refinement and lead through reviews.
• Leverage AI in daily work to raise engineering quality.
