Siemens Digital Industries Software is seeking a software development professional to contribute to STAR-CCM+ meshing software. You will work on volume meshing for tetrahedral and dualized meshes, with boundary layer generation and Cartesian cut-cell meshing technologies.

You will collaborate with managers, specialists, and engineers to understand customer needs, design meshing capabilities, and optimize distributed computing performance.

Qualifications

• MS/PhD or equivalent experience in engineering, CS, math, visualization, or related field.
• Experience developing surface and/or volume meshing algorithms.
• Strong C++ software development skills and OO design.

Responsabilités

• Designing and implementing meshing capabilities in STAR-CCM+.
• Developing and optimizing MPI-based distributed-memory algorithms.
• Collaborating with product managers and engineers to understand customer needs and requirements.
• Creating automated tests to support software reliability.
