Siemens Digital Industries Software is seeking a software development professional to contribute to Simcenter STAR-CCM+ meshing software. You will help generate high-quality volume meshes, including tetrahedral and dualized tetrahedral meshes with boundary layer generation and Cartesian cut-cell meshing technologies.

The role involves collaborating with product managers and engineers to understand customer needs, designing meshing capabilities, and advancing algorithms for distributed-memory

Qualifications

• MS/PhD or equivalent industry experience in engineering/computer science.
• Experience developing surface/volume meshing algorithms.
• Strong C++ software development and OO design skills.
• Experience with distributed-memory parallel computing (MPI).
• Experience in commercial software environments and 3D CAD concepts (NURBS, B-splines).

Responsabilités

• Designing and implementing meshing capabilities in STAR-CCM+.
• Developing and optimizing algorithms for MPI-based parallel computing.
• Advancing mesh generation quality and performance.
• Creating automated tests to support software reliability.
• Reviewing software changes with other developers across the code base.
