Sia in Brussels is seeking a senior Machine Learning Engineer to grow our Data team and shape the future of AI at the company. You will work on client projects and Sia AI solutions with cross-border teams, leading architectural decisions and delivering production-grade ML systems.

You will mentor engineers, run trainings, and engage in external events while collaborating with diverse business units across Sia Global to drive impact.

Qualifications

• Master of Science with a focus on AI or Computer Science.
• 2–4 years building production ML/Deep Learning pipelines and models.
• Strong ML foundations with domain knowledge in CV, NLP or DL.
• Expert coding in Python and at least one of Scala, C++, Java.
• Experience with SQL/PostgreSQL and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure).
• Hands-on with Docker, Kubernetes, Git and UNIX CLI; big data tools welcome.
• Interest in data and AI topics with ability to learn quickly and coach others.

Responsabilités

• Lead an internal team toward development of AI products.
• Collaborate on client projects as a domain expert in ML/AI.
• Make architectural and design decisions for cloud environments.
• Build production ML/AI solutions with solid software engineering.
• Mentor engineers to scale models into production.
• Deliver trainings, run internal meetings and external events.
• Write blogs and present at conferences tied to your work.
