Select Projects (Select) Geel is seeking a Senior Microbial Contamination Control Program Manager to lead the site-wide contamination control program in a highly regulated pharmaceutical environment. The role emphasizes cross-functional collaboration, risk assessment, and continuous improvement to ensure product quality and patient safety.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Microbiology, Biotechnology, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of experience within pharma, biotech, or a regulated manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of EU GMP, risk assessment methodologies (FMEA, HACCP, What-if), and change management.
• Experience with contamination control, microbiological risk assessments, or environmental monitoring.
• Fluent in English; Dutch is considered an asset.
• Budget management.

As a Microbial Contamination Control Program Manager, you will play a key role in developing and implementing a site-wide contamination control program within a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment in Geel. You will bring together multiple departments to strengthen risk management, compliance, and continuous improvement efforts. This position combines technical expertise with project management and stakeholder engagement. You will have the opportunity to build sustainable processes that directly contribute to product quality and operational excellence.
