Jan De Nul Group is expanding its Marine Design and Engineering Department and seeks a Senior Marine Design Engineer to lead vessel design calculations and installations for new and existing ships. You will direct project-specific analyses including hydrodynamics, motion, lifting operations and mooring, shaping offshore structures and marine systems.

Ideal candidates hold a Master’s degree in naval architecture or related field with at least 10 years of relevant experience, and possess expertise

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in engineering sciences with option Electromechanics/mechanics, shipbuilding or naval architecture.

Responsabilités

• Provide technical expertise for the design (calculations) of new vessels and for conversions of existing vessels.
• Lead project-specific calculations for hydrodynamics, motion analysis, lifting operations, sea transports, vessel mooring, etc.
• Prepare and review technical specifications for other departments (purchase, logistics).
• Consult with internal departments to determine design constraints (operating conditions, functionality).
