DEME Group in Belgium is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead electrical upgrades, maintenance campaigns, and improvement projects across its offshore and dredging vessel fleet. You will prepare, coordinate, and manage technical projects from headquarters, with occasional vessel or shipyard visits to assess systems and support implementation.

The ideal candidate has a master's degree in electrical engineering and at least 10 years' experience in maritime environments, with strong

Master's degree in Electrical/Electromechanical engineering or related field.
10 years of relevant maritime/offshore electrical engineering experience.
Strong knowledge of electrical systems, distribution, drives and control systems.
Experience leading technical projects and coordinating stakeholders.
Hands-on, pragmatic problem-solver with good planning and communication.

Responsabilités

Lead electrical maintenance, repair, retrofit, and improvement projects across vessels.
Develop methods, budgets, resource plans, and safety documentation for electrical works.
Manage projects from concept to implementation, ensuring quality and schedule.
Coordinate with crews, subcontractors, suppliers, and stakeholders.
Analyze failures and identify opportunities to improve reliability.
Support procurement through supplier selection and negotiations.
Conduct site visits to evaluate systems and define scopes.
Collaborate with mechanical, automation, reliability teams.
Stay updated on new technologies for offshore and dredging vessels.
