Job summary

Johnson & Johnson in Beerse, Belgium, is hiring a Senior Manager / Associate Director to lead the SoliD team in Drug Product R&D. You will drive solid formulation development for synthetic molecules, oversee cross-functional programs, and ensure alignment with CMC objectives and regulatory expectations.

You will recruit and mentor scientists, manage resources, and coordinate technology transfers, with a focus on quality, compliance, and timely project delivery in a dynamic international setting

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences or related field required.
• 10+ years developing drug products in the pharmaceutical industry.
• Deep experience in solid formulation and process development for synthetic compounds.
• Track record spanning preclinical formulations, developability assessments, clinical development, scale-up, technology transfer, regulatory filings and commercialization.

Responsibilities

• Advance formulation and process development for synthetic molecules.
• Lead technology transfers and plan resources to support multiple programs.
• Mentor scientists and build a high-performing team.
• Ensure GMP, quality, safety and regulatory filings are aligned with CMC objectives and timelines.
• Collaborate with multiple internal functions and external partners to deliver projects.
