EY Consulting in Belgium invites you to shape the digital future of governments by leading transformation programmes within the public sector. As a (Senior) Manager you will define strategies, oversee delivery and realise change through technology, data and innovation.

You will collaborate with policymakers and senior stakeholders, supervise teams, and build lasting relationships while embracing AI trends and risk management across cloud, data and interoperability domains.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 5–10 years of relevant experience as a consultant, contractor or public servant.
• Experience leading complex digital transformation and IT implementation programmes.
• Experience with ServiceNow, Salesforce or similar platforms.
• Strong network within the Belgian public sector is an asset.
• Fluent Dutch; English and/or French are advantages.

Responsabilités

• As a (Senior) Manager, sell and successfully deliver digital transformation projects within the public sector.
• Review and advise on IT processes including Data Management, Change Management and IAM.
• Embed risk management into AI journeys for clients.
• Assess cloud setups with focus on cost optimization.

Join EY’s Digital Government team and work alongside policymakers, executives and public sector leaders to shape the digital future of governments, public institutions and society. As a (Senior) Manager, you will help clients define strategies, lead transformation programmes and realise meaningful change through technology, data and innovation.

Your Key Responsibilities

As a (Senior) Manager, you are responsible for both selling and successfully delivering digital transformation projects within the public sector.

This includes:

• Review and advise clients on a wide range of IT processes, including Data Management, Change Management and Identity & Access Management.
• Support clients in their AI journey by embedding risk management into this exciting evolution.
• Review and advise clients on their legal digital risk landscape, assess compliance maturity with key digital regulations such as the CER Directive, AI Act and Data Act, and support the implementation of required measures.
• Review and advise clients on their current or potential cloud set-up, with a focus on cost optimization.
• Get involved in increasingly challenging engagements, new solutions and emerging technologies such as Quantum Computing and AI.
• Help clients develop Business Resilience by implementing Business Continuity and evaluating resilience maturity.

Your Profile

You have:

• Master’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Ideally 5-10 years of relevant experience as a consultant, contractor or public servant.
• Experience leading complex digital transformation and IT implementation programmes.
• Experience with ServiceNow, Salesforce or similar platforms is considered a plus.
• Strong understanding of public sector organisations and digital transformation concepts such as interoperability, reusable building blocks and open standards.
• Proven ability to build relationships with senior stakeholders; a strong network within the Belgian public sector is considered an asset.
• Able to combine strategic thinking with pragmatic execution.
• Strong people leadership skills, including storytelling, facilitation, presentation and stakeholder management.
• Forward-thinking mindset and ability to continuously learn and embrace new challenges.
• Fluent professional Dutch. Knowledge of English and/or French is an advantage.
• Strong affinity with AI and genuine interest in applying new AI trends in a professional context;
