Harvey Nash Group is seeking a Senior Backend Software Engineer to join the IT team of a leading industrial manufacturing organization. You will design, develop, test and maintain backend applications within a mainframe environment.

You will translate business needs into functional and technical designs, contribute to quality and reliability, and collaborate with IT and business stakeholders. The role requires 5+ years of backend experience with strong mainframe expertise in COBOL, DB2, EGL and

• Minimum 5 years of backend development experience.
• Strong mainframe background in COBOL/DB2/EGL/PL/I.
• Familiar with CI/CD pipelines and GitHub workflows.
